Im probably gonna get slammed for one or two of these.
I know this sounds crazy and maybe I am the only one, But I like Limp Bizkit's version of "Behind Blue Eyes" way better th an the original The Who Version.

Totally agree with them! I know this sounds crazy and maybe I am the only one, But I like Limp Bizkit's version of "Behind Blue Eyes" way better than the original The Who Version.
But totally dont agree with that one. the original was a masterpiece, but they even got rid of the solo n rapped over it in the limp bizkit one for christs sake

I like their version too, but maybe it's because I heard it before the original.

Blah, covers are horrible....None of those hold a candle to the originals.
Covers I can tolerate though are: Last Kiss - Pearl Jam LALD - GNR Everybody's Gotta Learn Sometime - Beck Waterloo Sunset - David Bowie (It's far too overproduced, but it has a nice little different ting to it than the Kink's version.)

Jimi Hendrix - All along the watchtower (Dylan)- has to be the greatest example of the superior cover
GNR - Sympathy for the devil (Stones), really runs the original ragged
Type O neative - Cinnamon Girl (Neil Young) - so so much better

I haven't heard the original all the way through, but no one has mentioned The Beatles' version of Twist and Shout.
