The political comparisons on the right are idiotic, although hardly surprising. Bud Fox has seen a number of articles comparing Berger to Mark Foley and Abramoff, one a figure holding office and the other a figure bribing those holding office. Berger is a private citizen at this point, disowned by his party long ago who will never hold office again. To try to make him part of the current political scene is posturing, that is exactly what you have here in this thread. Nobody is dumb enough to fall for it, except right wing dolts of course.
