what if the rest of chinese democracy isint all that good and thats the reason why axl and co. hasnt played any of the songs???

i mean it is a possibility that maybe we have heard the peak of the record already

of course lets hope not, but it kinda makes you think why havent we heard more

or could it be that the rest of the record is even better (excuse the pun) than what we have heard?

Yea cuz if they play all the new songs ppl will just record them and it would probably affect album sales cuz there wouldn't be that suprise when you buy the cd.  That's my guess.  I think they have been playing a good amount of new songs while still playing all the classics.

I agree.  The album won't get the critical acclaim if the rest of the songs aren't on par w/ what we have heard (although I am sure even if it is the best album of all time it will get the "we waited 15 years for this?" nonsense) but I would still dig the album even if the rest of it is of Axl's bowel movments.  Bring it on!

I agree. I'd be satisfied with studio versions of all the leaks. BUT... Bring on the new songs, which I am sure are even better... but not Better than Better?

I think we've definitely heard some of the album's high points - Better, The Blues, Madagascar, etc.  Even if the other songs don't hold up - and I believe they will - CD will have more great songs on it that we already know than most albums that come out these days.  For me, it's a win-win situation.

Of all the songs we've heard none are mediocre, all of them have different sounds, all of them have different elements and all of them are good as hell.

My favorites shift all the time. That is proof of extraordinary quality.

Chinese Democracy can end up being the greatest GN'R album ever made. I seriously believe that.
