I saw Skid Row in 1995 when they opened for Van Halen and it was a kick-ass show all around.
Subhuman Race
was their last good album. Don't much care for the Solinger era.

I didnt think too much of Subhuman Race... but what kicked ass on that abum kicked fucking ass!
but the same with new Skid Row too... Not all are awesome songs, but the songs that are cool kick you ass from here to hell! (if you ask me...)
but the newest album was weird... i mean, there are loads of cool shit, but its not were they should be..
Solinger sure did influence the guys with his country crap :p

Yeah what really gets me pissed is that the song "Wasted Time" was a top 100 hit for them, but then it isn't even on the greatest hits, how dumb is that?
Lmao.

Or how "Forever" was one of their best songs, and its only available on the Greatest Hits album.

I think that's because Bach helped write it. Bolan is kind of a dick that way...

That was a huge mistake to kick him out. At least with Bach they could get on one of those has-been tours with RATT and POISON. Without Bach who gives a shit about Skid Row? How many people bought their last two sucky albums?
Bach's solo stuff is pretty good. I'm looking forward to hearing his new CD.

Skid Row's first album of new stuff "Thickskin" is actually good. I liked it. I have it, and it ranks up there with Subhuman Race, but below Slave to the Grind and the debut.
Check it out i fyou haven't dude.
The new record is trash.

They'd be in better shape than they are in, but Nirvana killed them.

Bach
did very little songwriting just look at the credits on the old albums.
The Greatest Hits
was a joke they left off several classic tunes just as a way of say
"Fuck you Baz"
.
Going off how he was on that
VH1 Show
i'm not suprised they fell out with him, i have been a big fan for a long time but everything people had ever said about him on that show which many fans had chosen not to believe (like myself) seemed to be confirmed on that show he seemed like a total dumbass, jackass and a big kid.
Bach
since leaving the band has done a limited amount of material the best being the stuff he did not write i.e.
Frameshift
's album & his live album, the old
Skid Row
numbers were way superior to his medicore studio songs.
New
Skid Row
kick ass live and i liked their albums, unfortunately their doesn't seem to be much playback in them, intitally enjoyable now i get bored real quick and rarely listen to them whereas
Slave To The Grind
is always going to get banged back in my
CD Player

Nirvana wasn't shit. I like them alright. The change did burn out a lot of bands.
Skid Row kinda pushed though to 1996 though so they weren't killed off.
Yeah I'm listening to "Quicksand Jesus" I love that chorus kick in, bad as hell.

Forgot to mention it. I just heard a couple of days ago the song "Wasted Time". I never got into STTG. I was always in the debut and greatest hits.
I just can't believe this song was left off the greatest hits... pisses me off.

Err, ya they did...
Their last hit was "Primal Scream" and that was released in 1991. All three of their albums from the 90S/00s flopped.
