HTGTH mention on Sirius Satellite Radio
«
on:
December 19, 2006, 11:45:27 AM »
Hey everyone! Just wanted to let you all know that HTGTH was mentioned after a GNR song on Octane channel 20 on Sirius Satellite Radio. I believe that was the channel... but there definitely was a mention. I thought that was cool.

What did they say?
They first mentioned the cancelled shows and the tentative release date and then after that the DJ said "to check out GNR site Here Today Gone to Hell."

Was it Kayla on the air?
When the open letter came out, I sent her an email about it (and that it contained a potential release date) and linked her to the news item on HTGTH.

I can't believe people would still say that the album is coming this year even after the letter from Axl.

I was listening to Buzzsaw channel 19 on Saturday night and the DJ, Rockin Robyn Lane mentioned Axl's letter to the fans, the cancellation of tour dates, and that they're looking to work on finishing up the album. She did say you could read about it on the HTGTH website as well. She then noted how Axl said the tentative release date was March 6th, but he failed to give a specific YEAR. And she ended by saying, "Axl can kiss my fat ass." She's not a big fan of Axl.

I think Axl can kiss some finer looking things rather then some fat radio jockey's ass.

Yeah, probably right. I used to like this DJ. She clued me in on the Hammerstein gigs before they were announced. But I think her patience has worn thin.

God, I can't stand Carlos Mencia.
Almost as much as I can't stand people who imitate him and respond to fellow idiots as "Der der ders."
Or people who post pictures of Carlos Mencia...
