Axl released a statement over last night on his website stating March 6th as the release date. However most of the shows in the new year will be canceled in order to properly get the album out there. Apparently Universal thinks this is a true Guns N Roses album.

I can't wait for this show tonight.  I think it should be pretty interesting considering the latest announcement and the fact that after tonight there are only three shows left on the tour.
