Ill admit, for awhile I had dismissed this band (because of their name mainly, I know how stupid) as a fluff glam band...

but let me say, they arent at all!!! They are pretty much a Blues rock band...!! and a good one at that!!

anyone else like em??? and dont be like me and dismiss them because of their name ok

I thought they put on a better show on the Poison tour.. ok

too bad TOm wont release his solo album that hes been working 10years on though...(yep, he wont do a new cinderella album or release his solo album because hes *gasp* a perfectionist)

i dont think any hair metal band fits the sterotype thats bene created for the genre

Cinderella are a great band, not likely to push Def Leppard from top spot as the best Hair metal band - but still capable of some damn fine songs

Get back together and tour ya'bastards!

they did tour recently. i think they did an album but no one will resign them for them to do it.

Sony screwed them for many years.

Bon Jovi will still be goin multiplatinum and selling out every stadium in the world in 10 years and u will still say that.

So say what u will but u dont have a 20 year career with the success Bon Jovi have had without being amazingly talented musicians.

The evidence doesnt support your statement.

Bon jovi were a pop band. pop bands have great success and make lots of music. look at the spice girls for example, its about marketing what was in at the time, bon jovi took the whole hair metal thing and made it commercial and became very succesful at it.
i dont care how big they are or how much money they have, that doesnt do anything for me, the music does, and the music does nothing for me.
so  peace

I remember to have bought  heartbreak station when it came out.
good LP, with some good songs.
but in the same style, i was more into Tesla, a very underrated band.

who also have very under-rated guitarists.

i preffer the album before heart break station, long cold winter, especially its self titled track.

station is a cool album though.

at the empire rock club. i grew up about 5 blocks from there. my sister was there the night jon bon jovi showed up.

i've seen cinderella a few times and they are awesome. they really are a straight up rock n roll band with a major blues influence. and it's even more apparent live.

i saw them this august, but unfortunately, tom keifer's lost his voice so the performance wasn't good.

If you really want to be blown away, go check out old Whitesnake.  After Coverdale left Deep Purple, Whitesnake had a lot more in common with Zeppelin and Blood, Sweat and Tears than the glam band they became.

Their cover of "Ain't No Love in the Heart of the City"  is outstanding.
