Music is like that unless Axl has invented brand new chords and changes.
If u think about it, id say almost every possible melody and chord progression or some variation of it has been done a million times over.
So if someone had the ability to research every song in music history, id guarantee a lot of songs share a ton of similiarities

Haha, it's true. There are a very limited number of combinations out there. Anyway, I've said it before and I'll say it again. I absolutely love this song. It's just brilliant.

The other day I downloaded the album ?Twelve Stops Home? by ?The Feeling? (i had been recommended the album by a friend). The album is ok, not heavy rock or anything like that, so I took it for what it was. There?s a track on there called ?Fill My Little World? and I can?t quite put my finger on it, but the track reminds me of Guns n?Roses ?Catcher in the Rye?. I?m not sure if it is simply down to the pace of the song, piano sounds, drum beats of tone in the singers voice.
Compare:
?Twelve Stops Home? 02:09 (onwards) into the track
with
?Catcher in the Rye? 02:16 (onwards) into the track
..both tracks feel me with the same feelings
send me this song

Guess we can make a thread for this one too!
I like this song... in the same lane as The Blues, more classic Guns!?
To be honest, of all the new songs, it's the only one I hope isn't on Chinese Democracy.

It's not Brian, and I don't think its Robin.
Talking of the new version, if you play it with headphones for the last 2 minutes or so, can u hear an annoying skipping sound?

Well if it is indeed a '99 demo, then it would have to be Josh Freese right?

There's definitely quite a few weird and unexplained different blips/bleeps and whatnot, on the current version of this song.
I imagine it's going to sound quite a bit different when it's 'officially' released.
Most definitely though, this song is utterly amazing and without a doubt will be a huge hit with solidly huge mass appeal.?
I fully and completely love this song.

Absolutely. It already has the vibe of a Gn'R classic

IMO CITR is the best song based on demo conditions because it doesn't have to be a quality mix for you to really "get" the song. TWAT, BETTER, IRS, The Blues, Madagascar are songs that need to be heard in final condition to really xperience them fully. Atleast that's the feeling that I have at this moment.

This song is a classic, no question about it. I've been avoiding the leaks until the actual release of the CD, but this song rivals the best songs GN'R has ever released. When music is this good, I don't care what "name" the band is, I really hope we get a legit version of it sometime.
