yeah i would like a live version too, but i think it might be kinda hard to get your hans on since they haven't played it live yet

Yeah, welling being a peer friend and being a dick are two different ways to look at it.   The guy had time to edit his post after I said something about it and anyone that reads the rules of the forum can use a little common sense and either a) take their chances that a mod will miss the post or b) edit the post and thank the guy that told him about it for saving him from a karma. We're all peers and I'm not Jarmo, but when I see someone fucking up the works, I'm going to call them on it for their own good and for the good of the board.  You think people feel good when the mods pop into a thread and throw karma down on everyone that does something dumb?? It just stirs up shit that doesn't really hold relevance to the topics of the board, such as my post right now. People get pissed over karma, because it's almost like - - for the first time in someones life - - they have consequences for their actions.  Wow, what a concept.

If you didn't like what I did, get over it.  If you still have a problem, report my ass to a moderator and let them decide which of us was acting in the better interest of the board.  ok


On topic: There's no live version of CITR yet, but this one was definitely a fake.  If a fan decided that they were going to add the drum track, they should have at least mixed it better.

yeah, i'm afraid that citr may not make it on the record... dizzy and richard said that citr will be on the album, but on the other hand axl made clear (on the trunk show) that the band is still changing the tracklists (concerning the 2-3 albums)...

would be sad, cause catcher is definitely a great 2nd or 3rd single. by the way: can anyone clear things up: did axl say that catcher will be on the 3rd album or the 3rd single in ny (2002).

i feel the exact opposite.. i'd rather hear this one live and not any more new songs before the album is released.. so i'd rather hear this one before CD is released then hearing prostitue live before we have the studioversion no matter how good prostitute will be

As for CITR. Above Madagascar, The Blues, Better and TWAT? Not in my opinion. I think it's ok but before judging it I'd rather wait for the finalized, album version of it.
