If it is not Brian May on the guitar.. I will delete from this board and never come back. When will you people understand, Buckethead's hand puppet sold me C.D., Axl's phone book, and a few of Buckethead's dolls.

And this my friends is someone who does not know their "own" band. If you listened at all to the Illusions, just once listen all the way thru, you would realize that this is in fact GNR. They are a versitale band who can change tempos just like Zep or the Stones. AFD was just one album with 12 songs, 12 in your face songs. The Illusions was an ecclectic album. CD is shaping up to be an ecclectic album. Too many people are caught up with AFD. You need to realize that Axl will make his music from every spectrum possible. And that my friends is why I love Axl and I will be first in line to buy this album. He doesn't reguritate the same format (ala ACDC, who btw I love). This will be on complex album with something for everyone. If you don't realize this by now, I dunno if you ever will. Jeez, good music is good music, and CITR is good music.
I'm out bitches!

Wow. That's all I can say. CITR is Awesome. If you've ever been a fan of bands like queen or Zep or even Jimi Hendrix you would realize Better, Twat and CITR are fucking fantastic, excellent pieces of music. Wow. Hopefully when these songs come out and are reviewed, reviewers look past what a prick axl can be and how long it's taken, ect., and give credit where credit is due. God I hope this CD comes out one day. But why no word from Axl at all?

Did November rain sound like GN'r first time you heard? What about Estranged? They didn't to me. However they are two of my favourite songs. I'm not saying CITR is in the same leauge but what I am saying is that GN'R can't keep releasing AFD over and over again so Axl has to look for new musical influences.

I'm surprised no one in their late 20's or older has picked up on the REO Speedwagon influence. Is it intentional? Anyone know if Axl has ever mentioned liking their music?
I was thinking can't fight this feeling...
I mentioned the beatles and black hole sun by sound garden.. I had mentioned I thought of oasis but it was only a quick first impression
I have about12 listens in and it has grown on me... makes me feel good, very fun happy radio friendly song.. Seems like a lot going on so it took a bit to really like it..
I don't know why but blind melon's no rain came to mind with the melody..

Did anyone notice the following in the song?!
:
at 1:42 till 1:47, when you listen to the song in headphones there's an truly awesome piano solo thingy under Axl's wails! Axl or Dizzy goes all over the piano from the left to right and back if you know what I mean!! I just noticed it when I was listening to it with headphones. It's a bit back in the mix.

At least a few people see the REO vibe. Its not a bad thing either. This is another groundbreaking song, in my opinion. Dealing with such a morbid subject and wrapping it in pop song coating is absolutely brilliant. Axl's songwriting is at a new level. When you thought it was over years ago, and Izzy was the main writer of everything, Axl throws you for a loop with his incredible way with words. This song will be huge. Alot of people will not look deep into the meaning of the song and enjoy it as some pop song you hear on the radio all the time. Like your example, 'Black Hole Sun'. I think the media will give this album rave reviews, because the world hasnt seen anything as good as these songs in many many years.
