I see your point, Bono. ?I am not asking you to lie about having the songs... ?The person you quoted is asking for the song in a "veiled" manner. ?So, I would like you to modify your reply to take out the quote. ?I already deleted his post. ?Discussing the song doesn't mean you have a link to it so in my opinion, talking about the number of pm's you've received from people wanting the song is much different. ?Especially since the thread is supposed to be about CITR...not pm's.

I see what you're saying. the original quote in my quote was "subtley" asking for the song. "so sad" I'll change it.

OK...this song is AWESOME! I really think it is unique and there is not much like it to compare it with nowadays. This is classic stuff! I DO hear Queen in it and a bit of REO too...but this is just very cool!

i think that this song sounds the most "classic" gnr.. sounds like something right off the illusions... i've only listened once.. but Better is still my fav.. non of the songs are a dissapointment.. i remember back in the late 90's there were rumors that the new album was going to have a more techno feel to.. and was a bit worried when i heard omg.. but after trhe blues and maddy... and the 4 new leaks.. i'm pretty sure that we are going to get an amazing record.. hell 2 mnore leaks and i could burn an amazing album..

can i just say, this song is magical.. I've had it stuck in my head all day. it is etched in my subconscious. I absolutely fucking love it. i hear all the cool techno sounds and the na na an nan an and 'yooouu decide...' and the solo, and 'everytime i see them, makes me wish i had a gun..'.. it's breathtaking. absolutely beautiful beautiful song. and the longer i listen to it the better it gets. 'magical' is the only word to describe.
what's funny about this is that i can't decide on any favorite song of the leaked tracks, they're all so fucking obscenely good. good god damn, this is going to be an fucking monster album..

Does anyone else hear a little Styx in there? I don't know why, I do.
Better, IRS and TWAT caught me quicker. Definitely the roughest of the 4 demos.
I definitely want to read the fuckin book again after hearing this song.
Axl kicks ass. Where the fuck is the release announcement Axl?

Interesting observation. I sensed a little REO Speedwagon, but apparently I'm insane. We'll see how your Styx vibe goes over with these people.

I agree dave. Its up at the top just going by the lyrics alone. Truly amazing, and Axl is brilliant to use this topic in something like a top 40 pop song.

CITR is a type of song that could be played on a mix station, soft rock station, classic rock and modern rock station.
