The makings of a very strong, if not extremly diverse album is definitley taking shape...
Definitely. Axl is approaching Led Zep territory with these new songs. I guess the band members weren't lying after all. hihi

This song kicks ass. Vintage rock all the way. Very classic. I love it, seeing Axl do all these different styles. Its great.

Hey where's Nesquick, there's no shredding in this song. He must be extremely happy.

imho , easily the weakest of the leaked demo's. however the other 3 were so strong that comes as no surprise to me. CITR is on it's own a good lil song but pales in comparison to IRS , TWAT and especially better.

Again , just my opinion.

pece gunners. love and respect.

As I said in the ratings thread, I wouldn't give it more than a 6.5/10 at this stage.

Is it just me, or does the piano sound similar to REO Speedwagon's 1980's pop ballads? nervous Nothing wrong with that of course. Just an observation. smoking

exactly. the leaks were too good Grin

imo, Catcher has sweet melody, not particularly bad song.

Lots of potential there I agree.. Definitely a 70's rock vibe and I like the synth breakdown alot

I have to agree with what Booker said in his post about these demos having too many electronic beats - to me, that will date fast and the songs are strong enough that they dont need it

I was struck with Axls smooth delivery on this new leak, he sounded pretty good. I think it sounds a little formless and rough here, and it loses stride towards the end, but a complete version could be a very good song indeed

The makings of a very strong, if not extremly diverse album is definitley taking shape...

Without a doubt. I really think the album will be one where nobody will like all 13 songs like say most people like all 12 from AFD. It is going to be really diverse so some might like 3 or 4 songs totally to different to someone elses fave 3 or 4.

I personally think this is the best of the leaked demos so far. ?I think the lyrics of this song are incredible, and I can't wait to here the final version.

Don't really like it. ?First I didn't like IRS either, and now ... ?it's great (but it is NOT ?GN'R ? ?smoking ) ?But I don't think that will happen with this song. ?Better is very "different" but I kinda like it. ?There Was A Time is just great. ?So 3 out of 4 isn't bad I guess. ?But I do miss the real rock 'n roll in the songs though ...
