yeah sebastian bach can be such a douche sometimes, loved him with skid row but now he reminds me of a 40 year old female meth addict. i think sebastian should check himself before he goes knocking on slash/duff/matt.

does he think hes apart of GNR now or some shit?

He is a part of it. He filled in for Axl, he did the duet with him, has done countless interviews with Axl, got to listen to CD at Axls pad, hangs out often with the man, and the man calls him friend as well, and now he is opening for GNR. So yea, he is a part of it.

He makes a case here.

i think bachs ace.
but i dislike how hes up axls arse at the moment because he can use him to get good tour dates.

This whole him and axl being best buds is shit, bach is using him to get himself somewhere again.

You do understand that Axl asked Baz to be on tour with him correct?? That's usually what friends do, they hook each other up.? Go listen to that radio interview from the 90s when they called into Stern's radio show.? That was two really good friends hanging out and having a great fucking time.? I don't understand how you people try to claim that Baz is leeching on to Axl?Huh Jesus christ man so if you see a friend that you haven't spoken to in 10 years and you say hey man wanna hang out some time and grab a beer, then in your mind he's up your arse?? Sort of a little full of oneself eh?? I'd by far rather have Baz on this tour than some fucking emo band.

Bachs still up his arse though, all he ever does is mention axl and what hes done with guns n roses.

i like the man i really do but he treats it as if he is apart of the band.

I'd say stepping up to the plate and filling in for Axl when he had health problems, being a big part of the band.  Standing up for them when assholes bitch and moan about the things Axl's done is also being a part of the band.  All he ever does is mention Axl?Huh Don't you mean all he ever does is answer questions to other people that ask him about Axl???  I just don't get some of the people that post here.  no

Sebastian Bach is great, professionally and personally: he's got a killer voice and he's a really nice guy, albeit hyper as fuck sometimes. But seeing as how his Broadway attempts weren't that well-recieved, and he actually guested on the Gilmore Girls, I don't think he's at all allowed to say "Who?" about anybody in that tone of text.

That said, I can see his point. Everybody here  knows about Velvet Revolver, but what have they been doing recently, save for playing a show here and there and showing up individually at red carpet events? We all know their names as seperate people (if anyone ever said Who? about Slash, I'd wonder where they'd been for their entire life), but as a band, no, I don't think they're that phenomenal. If everyone put a touch more effort into it, then maybe, but this isn't the thread to discuss how they could improve on what they're doing wrong. Granted, you say the name Skid Row to ten people on the street, you'll be lucky if two people - or hell, even one person - know what you're talking about. But right now, people know about GNR. People are talking about GNR. Baz is on board with this and touring with them and maybe it looks like he's leeching off that spotlight a little. That may not be the right thing to do, but yes, what he is associated with right now, is less likely to get the Who? reaction than VR.

SunJournal.com recently conducted an interview with former SKID ROW frontman Sebastian Bach. A couple of excerpts from the chat follow:

SunJournal.com: Can you let people know, what is the show going to be like? It's a killer bill with you and GUNS N' ROSES.

Bach: Well, I'm playing with GUNS N' ROSES, Axl Rose's new band, which is incredible. I've been on the road with him since May, in Europe. It's a great show. We've sold out Madison Square Garden in New York City, which is just clearly incredible for me as a solo artist.

I never got to play there in my old band and I always wanted to. For me to be playing new places that I didn't play in my 20-year career, that's always great. That's fun for an old guy like me.

SunJournal.com: Do you remember when you first met Axl, how far back that would have been?

Bach: You wouldn't forget that day, would ya?

SunJournal.com: What were the circumstances?

Bach: The very first day I ever met him was when my old band, SKID ROW, was opening for AEROSMITH at the Los Angeles Forum. We did four nights. It was 1990. There was a knock at the door and it was David Lee Roth. I was like, "Oh my god." He came in there, then a couple of minutes later there was a knock on the door and it's Axl Rose. And I'm like, "Oh wow." And he comes on in and he sits down and we just talk about singing. Me and him went to watch AEROSMITH together on the side of the stage. Then Axl went up and sang. It was a great night. We just became friends after that.

SunJournal.com: I've been struck at the shows I've gone to recently, the whole holding your cell phone up and snapping pictures, holding them up during ballads for light. I'm curious, as an artist, what your thoughts are on that.

Bach: It's a different world, what can I say. As far as a fan goes, it's a good thing for a fan. Sometimes, you know, like Axl likes to have these late-night parties, and one night we were in Prague, Czechoslovakia, and he's dancing and stuff and I see someone that was invited to this party surreptitiously filming Axl dancing, with his cell phone. I had a couple of glasses of wine in me, I go, "Why don't you stop that dude?" Like, "Why don't you just be cool?" It was like an invasion of privacy, which it can be.
SunJournal.com: I read on your (Web) site that you'd filmed a couple episodes of "Trailer Park Boys". It was cool that you're supposed to be in Bangor, Maine, while you're doing that.

Bach: Oh, that's right! Well, there's something that I'm doing as a model train enthusiast in between the borders of America and Canada, and Bangor, Maine, has something to do with where we're at in relation to the border. I can't really ? I signed a paper where I can't give away too much of the plot.

SunJournal.com: What was filming that like?

Bach: Filming that was a lot of fun. You know, I've been on this show, the "Gilmore Girls", for four seasons now, and theater, I've done four Broadway shows. The thing about the "Trailer Park Boys" is that it's a lot of improv and I'm not used to that as an actor. Especially on Broadway, you very rarely improvise anything without getting written up. I improvise sometimes on the "Gilmore Girls", but every time I improvise it's in the rehearsals and then they have to clear it. But this was like, "OK, we're going to shoot this and this and here's what we're doing, go!" (Laughs)

I like Bach -- but he can be such a tool.  This comment is not coincidental in light of the recent, somewhat creepy developments:

yup.
don't get me wrong:  I think Sebastian's comments about privacy are on target -- I'm only noting that his "comments" lately are not necessarily random.

Baz was right about calling that guy out. Axl was just trying to enjoy himself. Why does it have to be spoiled by having some ass tape him, and intentionally post it on YouTube to embarass him? Can't he just go to a party and have fun, and not have to worry about being on camera there also?

It will be interesting to see what Sebastian has to say.  He seems to be put in the position lately to make comments on the tour.

Hmmmm... He's almost saying it as if what we have heard tonight wasn't "What really happened."  I'm sure it's nothing though.

Bach wouldn't dish out any real dirt or say anything bad...unless he wants to get kicked off the tour and play rib-joints.

Wham I'm reading from it is that he knows a _lot_ of speculation will rise from a cancelled GN'R show, and he will set the record straight.
