All my apologies to the poster of this thread.  I just can't make a decision between these songs.  They all kick ass.

It's like being in bed with Scarlett Johansson, Jessica Alba, Naomi Watts, and Elle MacPherson in her prime and having to pick who gets kicked out of bed...that's just wrong!

TWAT

Better is one of my favorite GN'R songs EVER but sucks live.  The band sounds great but Axl clearly struggles with it almost every time. I have all the bootlegs from this tour and I have yet to hear a version of Better that blows my mind. I have yet to even hear a version in which Axl gets every word of the song in without having to pause and catch his breath. Especially the "Know when ever told me when I was alone..." parts, those never come out good live.

IRS.

totally overrated. I was hearing how awesome it was ever since the Mike Piazza incident. I finally heard it live in San Bernadino and was so disappointed. I was thinking to myself, "this is it?"

TWATs the best song IMO, just not the best performance. Can't wait till it becomes a regular in the set list.

I love the song, but i just think it's the worst performance "live" of all the new songs.....obviously its down to the fact that it's not played often!!!

Ugh  I actually really like twat live and its not my fav new song

IRS plays terrific live.

Chinese Democracy is ok, but definately not one of the tracks that should be showcased with the rest of the A List material. It is definately not up there with The Blues Better and Madagascar.

Better is good but not a great live song because the chorus is sung so low in the mix. I almost wish they would play a pre recorded backing track from the album instead of Tommy, Richard and Robin's back up vox.  I actually think TWAT has this one beat.

It doesn't get better than Madagascar and the Blues though, the latter being Axl's strongest live performance of a new song

BETTER was the best new song performed live when I saw them in Everett   Chinese Democracy comes in second.

I think people are choosing their "Favorite" song and not which is the best "performance"

I have yet to hear one version of Better that is anywhere close to Madagascar or The Blues as far as live performance goes.

If we were talking about the original version of CD I would've voted it off easily. For some reason the new intro just re-sells the whole song to me, it's just SO bad ass.
