We do not get festivals like you all in Europe. we get Ozzfest and Gigantour and that is it. And those are not really that good. We need festvals like Monsters of rock, Donnington adn wakken Open air festivals.

Heaven and Hell at Monsters of Rock '07?? That would be really cool... I'm pretty sure they headlined in '92 as well, as Black Sabbath.

American festivals blow.
Of course, so does our music, for the most part.

If I have to look, then there is a problem. Of course there are hidden gems, DUDE. But those guys can't play a big festival here. You have to wear black and cut yourself to play the big stages here nowadays.

I have not heard of any " Download Festival USA". And if they had a big festivals it would be crap bands like My Chemical Romance or some other sorry EMO band trying to be metal.

Download 2006 was great but like mrlee says it had its fair share of shit bands. Bullet For My Valentine, Funeral For a Friend the worst that I saw
I've never really thought about going to a Monsters Of Rock, maybe I will some time. Def Leppard would rock if they stick to the first few albums (up to and including Hysteria in other words).
