You aussie guys are RIGHT! Jet SUCKS big fuckin' time.
There are many GREAT Australian rock bands, like THE ANGELS and AUSTRALIAN CRAWL and also the world famous Midnight Oil and Hoodoo Gurus.
These are the good ones that I know. If you guys could tell me some more GREAT aussie bands that would be great!

Check out
The Screaming Jets, they've been around since the early 90's, and play kickass rock following in the footsteps of the great bands you mentioned above. They also opened for VR when they toured in 2005.
