I have been to quite a few shows at Rexall.  Ozzy, Aerosmith, Velvet Revolver, Judas Priest, and System of a Down twice... just to name a few.  And it is my experiance that Rexall ALWAYS pats down at the door.  I have never experianced any kind of walk-through metal detectors though.  As for a wand, I can imagine them probably using one but I can't remember.

It is random pat downs.  They never have used a wand on me.  At any show.

They also search any bags and stuff.

I am deffentilly going to be recording this show and the calgary and winippeg show

Can I ask how you're intending to do that?  With one of those camera-phones or what?  I'm not the most up-to-date tech guy around..

Give it time man.  You'll probably get those tickets in the mail in early-mid November.  I went to the Rolling Stones on October 6th and I got my ticket from ticketmaster around the 28th or so of August.  That's about a month and a week before hand.  The Edmonton show is on the 7th of December so... do the math.   yes

I prefer to pick my tickets up at the box office, simple transaction... then you got em.  No worries.

are there any plans for a meetup before the show?  It seems as though several board members want to go.  I'm not familiar with the venue or what is around it.  maybe someone who is familiar can make some recommendations?

Look what they've done for november 8th  Grin

Pre show meet up party?

How about across the street at the bar in the hotel?

A hoy hoy gang,

I was just wondering if people plan on meeting somewhere b/f the show for a few drinks.  Even if we meet at the university and then catch the train to Rexall would be cool too. Seeing as how there isn't really any bars around Rexall. I'm fine with the hotel bar as well, but we should plan something.

Also, what time do people plan on going to the show? I just checked the weather network and it's going to be actually nice that day. Minus 3 and sunny, but could or should I say "will" change.
