Actually, the most anticipated will probably be the FIRST track on the damn CD.. Whatever it is, even if it is CITR.

If Checkmate was really a gnr song, the rest of it wouldve leaked already.

Then why didnt the rest of it leak. It sounds a hell of a lot like Axl, but I can't think of ONE explanation as to why only 16 secs or so leaked and the full version never showed up.

Prostitute
This song is
supposed
to be amazing....
Stinson once said several years ago that it was on par with SCOM.
He's probably talking out of his ass ...
but I'm sure it's pretty good.
The so far output of the new GnR is pretty good so I have good hopes for the tunes
I'm not talking out of my ass... at least I don't think I am. Can't provide a link- but a boardmember spoke to Stinson at a charity concert type thing for the Ramones in New York 5-6 years ago and asked him if anything on Chinese Democracy was on par with SCOM... and Stinson said: "Yes. 'Prostitute'". Now that original poster may have been "talking out of his ass"... but it seemed legit and I've sure as hell never forgotten it. As has been mentioned- others who've heard it or worked on it have also been glowing...
Anyway- if it's not as good as SCOM- I'm not going to hunt Stinson down or anything....
I'm just pumped for the fucking track.

The title track !...I don?t think you can hear it other than live ?

The Blues
.and here's why: Of all the new tracks *played live* The Blues is the only one that stands out and sounds any good. It sounds like a track that would not have sounded out of plave on the UYI albums. Even The Blues is not as good as November Rain

just wondering if anybody could go through the trouble and type a paragraph or so about every (possible) track... i've heard the leaks, and seen this band twice so i know that stuff... but a lot of these songs you guys are referencing (i.e. prostitute, sorry, this i love, the general) i know little or nothing about. i guess i just want some reasons why you guys think they'll stand out. i mean i know the obvious reason why we want to hear them (CD would be out). but i know nothing about prostitute and the general. this i love i know about... but any new info would be great.
thanks in advance and peace out

Sorry - Reminds Bach of doom metal with Axl singing in a clean voice on top. It's mean, and he can't get it out of his head Bach says.
Prostitute - Rumoured to be the best track on CD. Highly talked about by band members. I think someone described it as fire and ice.
The General - A song with Brain influences. Said to be powerfull.
Seven - Marco Belatrami claimed it to be the best of the songs he worked on (Thyme, Seven and a couple more). Most likely involves alot of string work. Probably an epic in the veins of Estranged and NR.
If The World - Is most likely on the album, but we know nothing about it.
But why do you want to know this, after all:

but back to Chinese Democracy... happy listening on the 19th. This monster is coming (on the 19th of this December) and you can quote me on that. i should know i'm with the band.
You wouldn't happen to be a liar now would you?

Would someone close to the band really advertise that fact AND post that the cd's comin 19th DEC?
