? does axl have to copy trent with everything he does?

Yeah, you're right!  I think this every time I hear The Blues.   Kiss

The intro. is very cool.  I don't know where it's from either.  It sets the stage nicely for the roof to get blown off with Jungle's intro.   Cool

yeah mrlee, he uses pinion from the broken ep.  i was just saying that the melody reminds me of pinion.  but seriously, does anybody else notice how it looks like axl bought the on-stage led screens second-hand from trent after the "with teeth" tour?  http://www.plsn.com/Current-Issue/Production-Profile/ProdProfile-Dec05

Yes, everything about the GN'R show was influenced by NIN.  Roll Eyes

Could you not just wait till you speak to Richard next and by then he will be able to tell you what Robin said?

I'm just saying that's all 'cos it doesn't look like anyone knows it here

Apologies if this is in the wrong section but can anyone tell me if they know what the doomy, bassy music is called that is played just before guns took the stage during the 2006 tour?

Also, is there an mp3/flac of it without the crowd noise around?

Cheers

I think the intro comes from an instrumental part on the David Bowie Album "Heroes".  It has also been used in the movie "Wir Kinder von Bahnhoff Zoo", about a drug addicted teenage girl in Berlin.

It definitely isn't Jaws, no way.  It sounds very similar to the music from 'The Shining,'  the original one with Jack Nicholson.  It sounds almost too similar at parts.
