im a huge bm fan. have been since 94' and i thought you were right, but travis really is good. he will be true to shannon, but also has his own style. this is very exciting for bm fans. ive been waiting for this for 12 years....there have been several starts and stops for this project. They guys had several solo acts and other bands, but this is the real deal. it has taken a long time, but it will be well worth it....they will do old and new songs....

I didn't say anything about line-up changes (and certainly did not bitch ), just don't think axl can see someone fillin' shannons shoes, since they were pretty good friends..

when there's a new BM record out i will check it out and probably like it.. but to me shannon has one of the maybe 5 greatest voices ever, that's hard to beat

That's true, he had amazing voice and he was a fuckin' great on stage (judging by bootlegs), but this new guy is great too. Not filling Shannon's shoes but doing amazing job anyway. Don't know how Axl feels about it though. But the comment about bitchin' was just a joke

Indeed, but I'm not sure if the band would feel comfortable playing them, as it was released after Shannon's death and all.

Sounds pretty good, I like Travis's vocals more and more day by day and the guitar melodies are pure Stevens/Thorn. The album is going to be great, hope they'll tour Europe too after the release.
