I like Blind Melon a lot. I think Shannon is a very underrated song writer. The thing that pisses me off is that they were on VH1's one hit wonder countdown. It wouldn't have been as bad if they were #1, but they were #99. I personally don't think they were one hit wonders, maybe they had one huge song, but not only one great song. I like the album that came out after Shannon Hoon died, Nico. There are some really cool songs on that cd. I can't wait for rarites and a live cd to come out. That will be great.

they released a Greatest Hits thing 2 years ago, Classic Masters, it's even remastered!
this is great news, saw this on a Blind Melon forum a week or two ago, didn't notice the thread about it here though!

Aw, shit. My hopes have been dashed. I read about this on "Tones of a Home" a cool Blind Melon fansite back in Feb 04......and I never heard about it again. I thought this was the update............It's not.
Hopefully this album gets out soon, I'm still very excited about it.

Well, it MIGHT not be that far away. I've heard that they are indeed working on this, but I don't know how legit the information is.
What I do know, is that there will be a Blind Melon tribute-album released next year =)
