All those that say Donnington. Are you sure....? I mean the first half of the gig was a breath away from disaster!
Technical problems, some negative crowd reaction then you throw in Tommy and his bass and Axl storming off.

Wouldnt show the band in the absolute best light despite the gig turning into a triumph.

And before you ask, yes I was there!
And it was awesome (overall!)

i think thats more of a reason to use it, it shows that axl can deal with problems, it also shows the unpredictability of the band, and the fact they can get over technical difficulties. and on top of it all it was an amazing performance with the doubters won over. people around me were bitching at the start but stuff soon changed their opinions.

I think a dvd with different clips from the european and the north american tour would be cool, also with some interviews with the band, backstage scenes, the band touring...you know. That would be very cool Smiley

Mine would be 2006 Donington. Anyone else?

BTW; I hate using "CD" for Chinese Democracy because CD already means something in the English frikin' language. (Done ranting Smiley )

--EDIT-- Changed post title... dvd would obviously be from 2006. I'll tally them up when the thread dies.

Europe: Donnington (probably because of Izzy, huge setlist)

America: Tampa (big crowd, great electricity, just a perfect performance)

Before all my posts about subjective matters there should be an IMO before the post. I took this sig down but of course it has to go back up.

Pardon the pun, but "it's so easy" to edit a concert. With that said, Novermber_Rain and a couple of other posters have a good idea with the montage thing.

The first Hammerstein show, or Inland Invasion.

I'm still waiting for an official RIR3 2001 dvd, myself.  Grin
