I'm sure it was a blast...but from the photo it looks kind of like a prison.  Makes me sorta glad I have a seat for tomorrow night. hihi

The only way to get out of there is to be crowd-surfed over the barrier. Then the yellow shirt guys will let you exit to the right (if you need medical attention) or the left to walk back around to the rear part of the crowd. Either direction gets you a cup of water from a "Water Boy." (Imagine THAT job Smiley )

Let's make it 2006 shows, since obviously Axl would want to show his current band to music consumers. After the thread dies I'll tally up the votes. Anyone who mentions or already mentioned more than one 2006 show, I'll use the first one. M'kay?

Not sure, but I'd hate to see empty seats, so something close to capacity would be nice.

Hammerstein night one was insane. I went to the last night with Izzy and MSG. The first night was incredible. Hammerstein was way over capacity and people were literally hanging off the balacony. The stage is so close to the fans and there was a pit and everything, it was chaos.

Hammersmith, London, June 6th 2006. The most insane and energetic crowd of the tour, in Brian May's words you could almost see the sparks in the air. Axl on the band on incredible form, playing in our living rooms. As I said at the time, it's their Ritz show.

def Hammersmith London - legendary venue, legendary night.  it was incredible in the pit that night, the first UK gig for Guns in years and SO fcn exciting! agree with you mlewis!

Download would be good, but doubt they would use that as there were issues that night and songs like YCBM - Ax didnt finish singing and he stood stock still for Better etc.  HAving said that, I was there and it did turn into the most incredible gig.

I would like to see some of the recent shows, because the band is getting tighter and tighter the more they play...

Why hasnt Madison Square Garden been metioned much that was the best show i had been too what with the audience and how the band played so i would be happy to see that, another one would be Birmingham but you have the security incident in that so maybe they wouldnt want to show tha part.

Failing that a Montage from Europe and Usa would do just fine.

Anyhow lets just concentrate on the Album for now thats what we are all waiting for and the time is nearly here for it to land.

Anything but Download or Rock AM Ring...though I guess these shows have already had the audio and editing fixed, so economically it would make sense. But it would be nice to have something we haven't seen at all. Something from the NA tour, maybe.
