With all the time people spend playing this game they can actually be learning how to play guitar for real.

I'm not sure what kind of tone you're using there.. but if you're being condescending then seriously, it's just a game man. Let people enjoy themselfs.
If you were just kidding.. then yeah you're probably right.

No, you miss the point.
I've been playing "for real" since I was about 12 - 13 years old...so coming up on 20 years.
I still enjoy GH and GH2. It's a very different mechaninc.....

I agree...it's a great limbering excersize and it'll get you used to some basic stretches and slides (hard and up).
But the overall mechanics, obviously, are very different.

Dude.. I keep trying to get 5 stars...
can't do it. Freya is one of the hardest songs in the game on expert and should at least a couple tiers up.
The patterns man.. the patterns...

Finally finished the 40 Main songs on Medium with Five Stars .... I have 10 songs completed on hard...only 3 stars on each one though
Its quite a jump from medium to Hard
I can barely complete the song...let alone get 4 or 5 stars

I'm all the way down to Rock This Town with 5 stars on Expert.
Rock This Town on expert is very hard and I find I even have trouble getting 4 stars. We'll see.

I'm trying to work on 5 starring the "Furious Fretwork" songs on Hard. That's where I hit my first wall, on medium, too...those songs just kick my ass the first few times I play them. It's a big jump in speed from the previous sections and they've been the only songs I really needed to use the "practice" feature on to slow them down, learn them, and then pump them back up to normal speed.
If you think the jump from medium to hard is tough...wait til you jump from hard to expert. I think that difference is MUCH bigger.

yeah those last 2 groups of song are a bitch
i used the practice feature to get by them on medium...but going to hard i had to do training for Wolfmother
i still couldnt do the damn thing on the slowest setting....that fuckign hammeron-pulloff solo
anyway i managed to get full star power before the solo and just ride it out til the end of the song...i'm hoping as i get farther down the list i'll be able to go back and beat the songs with some skill
