 Yo,

I was half-watching some movie last night,on in the background while doing a few things, and there was a GN'R reference. It was called "Double Edge" with Susan Lucci and Robert Urich.

Lucci was playing 2 roles, one a killer/assassin and the other a cop (FBI?). Anyway, the cop is tracking the killer and knows that they look identical.
The cop goes to an old folks home run by the Catholic church to see the killer's father who lives there to get info,'cause she looks like the daughter. (Still with me?)

She trys to get the attention of a nun who has headphones on and her eyes closed. The nun takes them off, startled and says "I was rockin' out to Guns N' Roses. I can't get enough of Axl Rose." - all smiles and embarrassed.

The movie was from 1992,so it was current back then. It was very unexpected and pretty humorous.

Reminded me of the 1994 reference from "True Lies" w/ Ah-nuld. When Tom Arnold says to Arnie "You aren't her parents anymore, her parents are Axl Rose and Madonna. You can't compete that that kind of bombardment."

? Anyway,just a blurb I wanted to share.

? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? MATT

That's from the great tv show "Grounded for Life". I never saw the movie in question (was it made for tv?) but that reference is hilarious. Gotta love them hard rockin' nuns.
