I was at FYE the other weekend when I noticed a New "New GNR" item... It was a tin with tour dates on it... I got really excited, until I saw it was from 2002... It had all dates(even the shows that never happened)... So at first I thought it was old stock... But when I looked closer it had a copyright date of 2006!!!

So my question is, why would they sell something this year, that was such a disaster 4 years ago... I think it would make much more sense to have 2006 dates on it, to alert an unknowing fan.... I know its just probaly a money grab, but why 02?!?

At a Spensers store I saw the same thing (I think) and had the same reaction.  It was a rectangular tin object, and had all the 2002 dates.  I thought it was very weird indeed.

Haha, why does Sweden have "Globen, Sweden" (Globen is the arena, not the city) while all the others have "city, country"  (or "city, state" for american dates)? hihi That kinda makes it look more unofficial.

Saw this item i think its the same anyway, on holiday in Orlando earlier this month it was in a shop called music for a song or something like that, in the Premium outlets.  The one i saw was a sign or wall plaque (sorry can't spell) it was $7.99 plus tax if anyones interested. I didn't buy it as i thought whats the point for a cancelled tour!

This has got to be a fake. I mean, they list Rio 2001 in there, but where are the Las Vegas gigs? What about Japan, Hong Kong, Leeds, Pukkelpop, etc?
And aren't those european dates the ones they would supposedly play in 2001? (which were canceled because Buckethead was sick, or so they said...)
