This Never Happened, It's Just a Dream...

« on: November 28, 2006, 01:21:32 PM »

The following is from Mitch at www.teamsma.net

Quote
Recently I have contacted Craig Howell of Cheeba Productions regarding the rumors that have place him as the responsible person for the artwork for a Guns N' Roses album. Howell was gracious enough to respond to my email. His response gave a clear answer but raised even more questions.

In his response to my email, he first said that he was getting a lot of emails regarding an album called Chinese Democracy. He wanted to know the sources of the rumors and where they were spreading too. I gave him the web addresses to all the major Guns N' Roses fan sites. (heretodaygonetohell.com, chinesedemocracy.com, gnr2k.com, gnrnews.com, mygnr.com)

The answer about the artwork for Chinese Democracy was at this point is to only be rumored.

This response didn't deny it or confirm it. However I have a feeling that he may have been contacted at some point about the possibility of doing it. However there could be many different people that were targeted as potentially doing the cover art.

Apparently Howell has no idea about the artwork as of right now. It poses two questions, who is actually doing the artwork? Is Howell being tight lipped about the work is maybe doing or has down? The answer being that it is rumored, seems a little too cryptic and goes along with what has been spreading.

As I posted in the previous thread, Craig Howell is not the artist who did the cover art for Chinese Democracy nor has he ever been considered.

Jarmo, it looks like Howell doesn't know a thing and hopefully it ends the speculation.

That is a shame that he wasn't considered, he is clearly a talented guy. Either way I still anxiously await seeing the new album artwork.

well I can't fully make out what is the subject of this sentence but from the sound of it, he hasn't been contacted at all, it seems.

Maybe no one? (If it's done)
I hear Adz did it. What happened to him? He disappeared after saying that. Huh

Have you seen the artwork or know that it's finished or who's doing/done it?

No.

I was told to make it clear in a previous thread that Craig Howell isn't the one who did the artwork.

Thanks Jarmo! Nice of you to clear it up.

Back Off Bitch: I'm sure that management just told Jarmo that he was not the person, but hey I could be wrong. If Jarmo has seen the art which I dont think he has, I dont think he'd want to, or be allowed to tell us. Think how many people would be trying to hack his computer.  hihi

'did' is past tense. 'Doing' is current. 'Will do' is future. However people do not always use grammar properly, so I will believe it if he says yes.
