He also had his facial hair shaved pretty crazy in Detroit on Saturday.  You could only see it when he looked up, but under his chin there was a weird shaved pattern that looked like two crescent moons.

It's actually a face that's shaved in under his chin... Just a basic face.

I'm not a fan of the new look though but looks don't really matter to me as long as he gets the job done.

I was gonna say....from reading through BBF's site and looking at old pics of him it seems he has always experimented with his look and gone against the norm....

looks better than his stringy hair without the braids, I think.
Love Ron as a nice guy.   Very, very good guitarist.    But his look and stage presence aren't that great.   Part of me thinks "who cares, it's about the music."  But, then again, at a live show you are going for a performance too.  Axl, Fink, Fortus, and, to some extent, Stinson, really know how to put on a show.  Ron less so - but he will get better.

Yo Mandy, not dissing BBF cuz he's my favorite member (well besides Axl   Tongue) but I dont care how much you hate Fortus, that dude has such awesome stage presence. Slams his guitar, puts his over his head, under his legs, runs around.... That dude is crazy!
