HMV Canada says Dec 19th

19th or bust...seriously.  If it isn't out the 19th nothing is happening (obviously), until AT LEAST Spring 2007, but personally I'm tired of this.  And I've only been waiting 5-6 years.

can we just see the dam split sheet, why would u not get on that right away, you know the dam skepticism behind all this, if you saw a split sheet couldnt you put 2 and 2 together and make sure before you say anything that u could show us the proof.

Who says so, the truth is no one here knows what they think, and it's obviously not part of some marketing strategy so what?s stopping them from just putting it in stores next week, or in the 26th.

I'll wait and see. It'd be great if it came out on Dec. 19 - just in time for xmas! It seems like a more legit date than some of the others that've come and gone. If it doesn't come out then, oh well... but I'll still be dropping by that day to check anyway!

frankly, that's the most solid data point so far.  Andrew (?) from melodic rock is pretty reliable.  And this new info has some added credibility because it converges on that date as well, and is pretty easy to verify.

Who the hell knows.  I would think it would be too late to release the album and have it reach maximum impact (there is a reason why virtually NO major new releases come out so late into the Christmas season).  But, maybe, just maybe, the 2006 thing will come true.  At the last minute, of course.

Just got word that impoverished people in India are currently pressing 1 million copies of the cd for $1.00 American a hour and the factory where they are doing the pressing is surrounded by an army hired by Universal to make sure the Cd doesn't leak.

It's either the 19th, or next year.? From what I gather, Jimmy Iovine wanted to wait until next year, and had a unique plan in mind to roll out the CD.? On the other hand, it seems the GN'R camp is worried about their reputation and is pushing for this year.? Hopefully some agreement was reached, which maybe pushed back the date from November, into December.? With the 19th falling before Christmas, and in time for the last minute shopping rush, and the post-Christmas bargain shopping and returns. This seems like a great time!? ?

i was at HMV yesteray and asked and they had nothing on computer. Dude knew nothing about CD or GNR but ironcially a universal rep( she showed me her card) was in the store and she said it was not coming out this year and that just in the past couple days she was called into office along with president to hear new gnr songs. I asked if they were the leaks but she didn't know. she said the music was amazing. She thought the band may have a little more recordeing to do aswell. She said expect early 2007 release. we'll see!!
