How do you get backstage passes?!

Well you guys have actually boosted my hopes. I was gonna make fake press passes and try to get in but maybe just talking to roadies is a better idea...

Depends who's working on the door.  I'm sure it helps when trying to convince roadies though.

In my experience showing up is about 80% of it and networking is the other 20% of it. My cousin was/is in a couple of punk groups from the 80's back home in LA and that opened the door for me. I then networked and networked. Promoters, bands, bouncers... basically anyone.

So my advice get someone to get your foot in the door and go from there.

The only backstage that ever lived up to the hype of "backstage" for me were the Jane's Addiction shows in '97. Most of the others are just a bunch of people running around or hangers on. The people that said that the after parties were the place to be are absolutely correct.

My friend and I are going to the Clevland show, and we figured why not try to get backstage. What the hell do you gotta do to get backstage that doesn't involve having a huge rack?

i've met Seb afew times now and he remembers me all the time and when i saw him at the newcastle show i asked him to take me backstage but he said it wasnt up to him
