Kind of suprised that UYI I isn't on there.  I mean, Don't Damn Me, Coma, Don't Cry, November Rain... Some serious guitar going on there.

Led Zeppelin II is way too low on that list. I mean c'mon!

Classic guitar songs from that album:

"Whole Lotta Love" - one of the best riffs EVER, one of the best solos EVER
"What Is And What Should Never Be" - awesome guitar work on this song as well
"The Lemon Song" - kickass riffing
"Heartbreaker" - incredibly catchy riff, and a solo that inspired Eddie Van Halen's "tapping" style more than anything else
"Living Loving Maid" - more great riffing
"Ramble On" - some more awesome riffs lol
"Moby Dick" - absolutely kickass riffing and soloing with no vocals to set up an extended drum solo
"Bring It On Home" - some more kickass guitar work

I mean honestly, the guitar work on Led Zeppelin II is right up there with IV's and yet it's way down at 80 something on the list? WTF? I love Zeppelin's first 6 albums, but I don't think Physical Graffiti's guitar work is as good as Led Zeppelin II's.

I'm very happy that AFD is getting this kind of recognition from a guitar magazine.

That tells a lot about the quality of Slash's and Izzy's work. beer

Yeah, more than anything the song that is most representative of how great they were on AFD is "Out Ta Get Me." If you listen to the song on headphones or with a good stereo, it's awesome to hear Izzy and Slash just dishing the kickass opening licks back and forth almost like they're dueling. Awesome shit.

And so underrated unfortunately! I mean yes, Axl's lyrics are over-the-top paranoid, but he's got a ton of vitriol in the way he sings that song. And more importantly, Izzy and Slash just kick a TON of ass on that song!

This list is almost total bullshit.  I agree with the top 3, thats about it...

Where the hell is Ac/Dc - Back In Black?  It didn't even make the list, yet Trivium, Weezer, Coheed and Cambria and a few other major question marks made it.

Deep Purple - Machine Head and Led Zeppelin - II are way too low.

Not one Beatles album?

And, oh what a surprise... Nirvana - Nevermind in the top ten of another 100 best ____ list.  Roll Eyes

Revolver (The Beatles) is in the top ten.

Anyway, this kind of ranking is always debatable.
