I think the fact that they started a promotion using "Better" with Harley, which will begin airing soon, is a sign that this is it. Just a little patience.

I hate when people say,"just a little patience".   I was 11 when Use Your Illusions came out and I'll be 27 soon.  I've been patient.  I'm just reallllly wanting the album to come out this year.  I can't keep waiting.

Why would they quit? They get a nice retainer / salary for being on call, they tour regularly, and get to release solo albums and play other gigs when GNR are dormant. If I was in the band, there's no way I'd quit. I might get fired for answering back though.

I agree. They are under "contracts", and as much as they are great players, they are just employees. ?
It's obvious that when the Bigboss rejoins (Slash), they will have to leave very quickly. I still hope Richard will stay, my dream would be a Slash/Fortus combo. Bumblefoot would be the 1st to leave/be fired. Then Robin... I don't know... I can't see him "beeing fired", but he is probably smart enough to know it would be better for him to leave. Duff of course would re-take his place in the band, I still hope for Brain or Franck on drums, or steven adler (I don"t like Matt Sorum drumming). Dizzy on piano/keyboard of course. and Axl on vocals, and that's it.
