Anyone heard the new album yet? It's called
Forever More
, I'm only 5 songs into it and it's great. It's the usual solid, strong
Tesla
album (so far), great catchy tunes, bit heavier overall, top stuff! This will be straight onto my mp3 player!
How does it compare to their previous album? I thought that one was great.
I assume you mean
Into The Now
and not the Covers album.
I've just finished listening to the album all the way through and the second half is definately weaker. The first 4 tracks are really good but the album doesn't quite hold up all the way through, although remember this is my first listen and after numerous listens your views always change, so far though, I'd rate
Into The Now
as being stronger (that was a fantastic album though), but in a few days after playing this over and over I'll be able to give a better opinion.

So what does everyone think about their new cd.
Into The Now was a kickass album
One of the best in the last 5 years.

I have heard the new CD once from a torrent source....they sound quality was really crap and I want to pick up the disc, and was wondering if anyone can comment on the production??
The music itself is solid. I saw tesla 6 months ago and really digged that new song Private Ledbetter...
tesla is one of the most underated bands of all time....they are prob my 2nd favorite band along with the cult

Definately a solid record, like one of my other favourites from this year it suffers from a weak middle, but overall it's a very enjoyable record. It's
Tesla
doing what they do best, writing catchy radio friendly melodic rock, which has a quality that keeps it away from being cheesy.
So What
and
The First Time
are my favourite tracks

I don't actually own any Tesla albums, though I do like all of what I've heard from 5 Man Acoustical Jam. I liked "Caught Up In A Dream" from their album a few years ago too. Very underrated band, in my mind.
A couple other good songs by Tesla are "Song and Emotion" and probably my favorite "What You Give" both off of Psychotic Supper.
