you know what's taking a toll on this fan base. All these fucking threads about the album being late, the new release dates fueld by people calling their local Best Buy, and everyone speculating on when CD will be out.
Give it a fucking rest until 2007 (if the album isn't out then.)
Thank you, someone else realizes this too.

If Axl screws me again, I'm done.
Screws you, haha.
It's shit like this that gets me exhausted. You honestly think Axl is doing this for you? You think he's sitting at home or in his backstage area saying "Man, I hope BigBri isnt going to be mad at me if I end up not getting the album out this year."
He's not forcing you to be here. You're screwing yourself. Maybe you should find another hobbie or something.
As sad as it is for some fans to swear off GnR if no album comes out, it's even worse to critize them and defend Axl. What you don't GET is that there's a loyalty between ann artist and their fans. This loyalty that the faithful GnR fans have kept the past decade is wearing thin. You can only tease and tempt them for so long before they finally give up and voice their frustration.
You have any idea how many artists and bands woud KILL for the kind of loyalty, devotion and patience that many of us have given Axl over the past 10 years??
It's not like people are asking for much. Releasing an album 10 years in the making is not a chore when you have the money, label and fanbase to support it.

I wasnt trying to defend Axl. I was just stating how everyone takes it as a personal attack if Axl decides not to release the album. It's like they have this frame of mind like Axl is saying "I'm gonna piss Lesty off by not releasing the album." (just an example)
I'm not saying it isnt wrong that it doesnt get released this year. Yes, Axl said it was going to so circumstantially it should. But what people dont seem to realize is that Axl is human too. His mind changes, he gets insecure, he feels lonely, he gets angry, bla bla bla, the list goes on. At the end of the day, Axl has to think of himself and do what he feels is best for himself, not his fans, not the music world. Thats what people need to realize and thats all I was trying to say.

I really just want the band to release the album when and how they feel it will make the most money and increase their exposure.? If now's not he time, wait until it is.
I agree with you to a large extent, but enough is enough. ?Get the music out, hit the reset button, and move forward from there. ?The longer the wait, the greater the expectations, the more challenging it becomes to meet those expectations.
At this point the expectation level is as high as it's going to get. After the 10 year point, they can't get any higher. It is what it is, I have faith in this band and their music has always and will continue to be great!

All press is good press to a point (Unless it has to do with child porn, molestation, rape, etc.). But that doesn't mean every fan will be happy about it as you said in your example. Not every fan will be happy or upset by the same thing, unless CD doesn't come out this decade. Then I can assume all of us wouldn't be jumping for fucking joy over that.
But who really gives a fuck what OPINION the press may have for this band?? If it bothers someone that much, then maybe they shouldn't be reading that shit?? The press is in for a big fucking surprise this year though when the album is dropped like a bomb on their fucking heads. IT WILL COME OUT THIS YEAR and the pizza delivery guy (my top source) just gave me confirmation when he brought my lunch... Ummm, That was a joke for those of you not smart enough to get it, well half of it was a joke. THE ALBUM WILL BE COMING OUT IN 2006!!! Thus fans will be delighted and smiling with fucking glee and then we can spend the entire year of 2007 gloating and waiting for the next album.

This one time a homeless man was begging as my friend walked by, and he said "please can you help me out, i'm really really hungry." ? So my friend had some chinese food in a bag and he said "here man, you can have this."
The homeless man said "what is it?" and my friend told him it was peking duck, to which the homeless man said "eh, no thanks."
That's what GNR fans are like sometimes.
I really couldn't have said it better myself. ?When Chinese Democracy comes out - this same group will be saying "Great it came out - now what's next?"

What's wrong with that? Any fan of any band looks forward to the next release by thier favorite band. There will be tracks that we know exist that are not on CD, people will be excited to hear them and anything else Axl releases in the future, you say that like it is a bad thing.

This post isn't negative. However, I think your comment of "...All these motherfucking threads..." would likely fit that category.
