Reschedule it....

In articles and all that you hear "the oft rescheduled GNR album..." often.

As far as I know it was never even scheduled to begin with! Axl saying this year that it will be out was the closest it's evr been to even being "scheduled".

This time I feel that there are several legitimate possibilities why the album will not be out.

I am guessing the biggest reason is adding people to the CD's.  The past year Axl has reunited with old friends, added 2 people to the band and met new people.  I am guessing Axl wants to add Bumblefoot and Frank to the CD and who knows he might also give some kind of guest slot to Izzy/Bach.  None of that would surprise me and all of that is legitimate and should be done if Axl feels like it will add to the album and the band.

If Axl is really worried about the new members, then why don't they hurry up and release CD and start on another album with the new members??

 I totally agree. Lots of people seem to be blind to reality. This is all a Game to Axl. It's utterly insane to string people along year after year. The people who put up with this nonsense are Suckers. I'm confident that I could come back to this forum in the year 2009 and people will still be on the edge of their seats waiting for a release. Do yourselves a favor and assume that it's Never coming out.

I find it funny that people seem to think they know what is going on in Axl's head. I don't see how you can think this is "all a game to Axl". And as for the "people on this forum... putting up with this nonsense" and "being suckers" that would include you.

If you think you will come back in 2009 and still see people posting optimistic things about the album coming soon then feel free to leave.

I dont think this is a game to Axl, and when I said i dont think Axl purposely lies to fans I stand by that comment.  I doubt Axl and Merk call eachother and say, "Albums not coming out for a while, lets tell people itll be out this year so we get buzz."  I really dont think thats the case.  I think they planned on having it out this year just like theyve planned to have it out almost every year since 1999.  The album is probably a year or two away I would guess.  Youll all flip out about that, but Axl will do this tour, then go rest his voice, rerecord stuff , probably there will be another leak or two, maybe tour a little more, and probably drop it November or so 2008.  He has proven time and again he doesnt want to release it unless its perfect, but it never will be perfect, but I think in two years he will feel too much pressure not to release the album.  This could all change though if someone steals and leaks the CD, because then in order to make any money he will have to release the album.  I dont know why everyone believed management this time and actually thoguht the album would be out.  It wont be out this year and i really dont believe it will be out next year either.

Axl said it was coming this year.. IF it doesn't then i will not be interested in Chinese Democracy at all (Apart from downloading it) - This seems like it is becoming a big joke.

I understand the troubles he has had - but 8 years plus for an album is getting a little boring.
I have been a fan for 13 years, but I hate to say it,  I'm starting to doubt it coming out at all!

BZZZ. Wrong. I'll tell you why. Axl has shown us for years what goes on in his head. Promise release, Delay, Promise release, Delay, Promise Release, Delay. Wash, rinse, repeat. Axl knew perfectly well how to put out Albums from 1987 to 1992 when the band was relevant. Did he suddenly turn stupid and forget how to do it. Maybe he needs Slash to come back and show him what to do. This CD is total BS and I am no longer buying into it. That is why I am not a sucker. I no longer give a shit. Axl is a has been who is trying to make a comeback and he's having very limited success. He better kiss the ground of the loyal fans here. Its just about all he's got left.
