If Axl has handed CD over to the record company, maybe its down to the big wigs at geffen or universal or whoever to promote and release this album. Maybe the reason Axl wont say anything is because although he probably has an idea on the albums release etc, maybe ultimately its not down to him anymore and hed rather just keep tight lipped rather than cause any unecessary disapointment for which he would then again be blamed for.

Just a thought!

Something is rotten in Denmark, that's for sure. What we don't know yet. Could very well be the case though.

If that was the case, I'm sure he would have told us that it's finished and is now up to the record company. Because if something falls through and we don't get it this year, plain and simple; Axl is screwed. If it was publicaly on the record company to release it and they didnt (which wouldnt happen) Axl would still look bad but it'd take alot off his shoulders, because then the blame will be solely on the record company.

Best policy would to keep quiet.

That makes sense.  Jarmo did say something of the nature that the ad was supposed to be a "surprise" which is why it was not allowed to be posted here.  Maybe, the ad is the begining of the rumored promotional campaign for the album.

I dont think Axl cares. I mean, He has said it B4. When hes ready he will release it. If u were in his shoes u wouldnt give a shit what 500 people on a message board did every day. It's not like the general public wants this record as bad as us board memebers.

Hahahaha... yeah that's not true for sure.

If the record company had this thing finished in their hands, they'd have it in stores tomorrow, just to finally get some money back out of it.
