Though the show is on hiatus right now ( between season 3 & 4) the rumor is that it will be back on in mid 07. Who else here really likes the show? Denis Leary is absolutely hilarious, I love his sarcastic sense of humor.  He writes and stars in the show. It follows the drama filled lives of a firehouse crew in NYC and the lingering effects of the trajedy of 9/11. Certainly pushes the envelope. Great soundtrack too. Maybe well see a GNR song next season ( Denis was seen hanging with Axl at MJ Fox's benefit on 11/11/06).

Denis Leary is awesome.  It was after D recommended this series i decided to download all 3 Seasons, i got through all the episodes in about a month.  The first 2 Seasons were great i really enjoyed them, but the 3rd season wasn't so good for me.  It was a real shame that they got rid of Tommy's bro he was a great character, oh yeah and the theme is fantastic!!

i noticed that too. this past season was solid, but the first two blow it away.

I have been only able to catch episodes here and there, but I love it.

As for Tommy's bro, do you mean "O'Reiley" from OZ?

my favorite episode was the season finale to season 2, where Tommy's grandfather and uncle were going to murder the drunk driver that killed Tommy's son. i'm not going to get into detail cuz i dont want to ruin it for the people who havent seen it but it was an amazing episode, i think i was almost in tears.

this show is just fantastic, i love Nip/Tuck as well but Rescue Me has has almost brought me to tears many times. its really a touching show, and its also gotten funnier and funnier LOL.

Nip/Tuck i love for the pure entertainment of it and the shock value but Rescue Me is really special, it always hits me hard.

Nip/Tuck and Rescue Me were better their 1st seasons. The Shield was awesome but it also struggeled its final 2 seasons. Whenever the characters grow up, its bad for TV i guess.

The sexual scenarios tend to get a bit out of hand, but it's a really fine show. The writing is great. Great acting also. I like it; I don't watch much in terms of TV shows, but this and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia are at the top of my list right now.  ok

Haha that's another show i started watching after you mentioned it downloading whole seasons at a time and it is better it is great, still first few season were the best but it's still very watchable, it's just not as good as it was.  I've just started watching Season 5, unfortunately reading the Shield vs 24 Thread i read something about Lem getting killed at the season end so it's a tad spoiled but oh well....still great stuff, i'm real happy David Marciano who used to be Ray in Due South is now in it Cheesy

Indeed they are.

But I'm surprised you bought them. Bill Hicks would not have approved!
