Shakira makes music.

Haha, point well taken.  (Although I am still somewhat confused as to whether the Suicide Girls DO (even a little?) or DO NOT.)

cool & agreeable rant  ok ...

Thanks!   Smiley

You didn't pay $75 for 3 bands... you paid $75 for Guns N' Roses and whoever Guns N' Roses felt like bringing with them. ?If Guns N' Roses felt like bringing one of the world's biggest burlesque shows with them, you'll just have to live with it. ?I'd be very pleased with the decision if I had tickets.

Very true!

I guess it all depends of different views... music show or art show? I claimed long ago that Guns are more then only ROCK N' ROLL... although Suicide Girls fit better to Marilyn Manson show I am 100% positive that it will be cool... and I like the idea. Peace to all that don't like. You can always have a beer or two in between.

Marilyn Manson won't need the Suicide Girls to open for him, so long as his wife's still looking good.

This does NOT add credibility to the GN'R name. It detracts from it. A pathetic way to garner attention, in my opinion.

It's sad how people cling to cliche when creativity doesn't bloom.

Despite the evidence, I'll await the rumour kill.

My $75 ticket ended up costing $92.90 after TicketBastard's tack-ons. ? rant

But I would've paid that for GNR by themselves.

Everything else is just a bonus. ? ok

This is awesome news.  BTW, who the fuck would get upset by this?  You are going to see Guns N Fucking Roses, not some sorry assed bible thumpers.  Christ, half the fun waiting around at an early GNR show was to see how many hot chicks would flash the camera guy.  GNR's use of big screen monitors was always a plus.

Sorry, I;m just struggling to understand how GNR's fanbase could include those who are prude.  God forbid you ever see the unedited it's so easy video    rofl

Cliche? ?Cliche would have been to get someone like Buckcherry or some other band that think they're in the 80s... Suicide Girls are a good move. ?That's much more arty than whatever lame band they could have chose.

It's cool man.  I'm a bit let down as well.  It would have been cool for GN'R to get another semi-big band to play with them.  It will be interesting though and who knows, we may enjoy it.

EDIT:  It would probably be cooler if it was like a guys night out or something but I'm going with my girl, so I'll have to pretend to hate it.

this is also awesome news because suicide girls are really a more modern 'trendy' show, and are on the underground scene and involved with really cool/up and coming rock and hip hop groups (e.g. atmosphere)

i'm sorry, but bach and the shitty metal groups like avenged sevenfold, bullet for my valentine, and papr roach really make it seem like GNR is outdated and unaware of what's cool these days.

whoever made this decision should be applauded and given a fucking raise!  Keep up this good work

WHO GIVES A FUCK IF THEY DON"T PLAY MUSIC?  I wouldn't have sat through the lame ass opening acts otherwise!  I'm much happier to have this than sit back and watch dumb fuck papa roach.

Also, it's not umcommon to have 'non-music' opening acts.  e.g. jim rose circus sideshow for nin in the mid-90s

You'll be watching and saying shit like: "I can't believe some guys actually pay to go see stuff like this!" and "Oh my god, that's sick. ?What kind of perverts are into this?" ? rofl
