bad obsession anyone?

it's not gnr related.

i know you'll say that if jay-z's album which is released nov.28th leaked cd should've leaked if it was due for release but jay-z and gnr don't have the same management team last time i checked

It means that if GN'R is to be released on that day we can expect the same to happen any day now.

i think this is very GNR related...if Jay Z is forced to put the album out early, that definately opens up the 21st for GNR to put theirs out and all but lock up the number 1 spot on Billboard....Jay Z is the only challenger to that would give GNR a run for their money...with Jayz out of the way....its smooth sailin......

that's not true. some albums leak weeks before the release, some don't leak at all (yes it is possible). jay-z is an artist like everybody else. you can't base the leak of cd on the fact that jay-z's album leaked 3 weeks before its release date.

Not that I care, but Jay-Z's album is coming out on Nov. 21, not the 28th.  It says so on his official website, amazon, itunes, etc.   I don't see anywhere that it got moved back to the 28th.

because then there'd be no hip-hop and it would be sad to lose a good genre of music?

I hate the whole "Retired" angle, its so lame.

He was gone for only a few years but still was active............

Still though, he will sell half a million first week easy which is why GNR better avoid Jay Z at all costs.

You could say the same thing about rock music... but like any rock fan should know, sometimes you need to dig a little deeper than the mainstream to find the good stuff.  It is the same with hip hop.

theres alot of gooood rock music around atm. some of it even hitting the mainstream. So hopefully people will realise theres more music than britney spears, artic monkeys and about 1000 rip offs and lame ass 50 cent.

On the hip hop thing, run-dmc own!

not his best work, but pretty decent.  dr dre produced a few tracks that sound good but most are done by just blaze! lyrically of course its pretty weak, jay z was never known for good lyrics really.  overall i give the album a 6/10

Not his best (still The Blueprint in my mind) - a few songs sound like thrown together messes (Anything comes to mind), however a few very strong tracks like Beach Chair, Kingdom Come, and Lost Ones... I wish it he had taken more time with it, gone over it with a fine tooth comb, since it's his "comeback" CD, but it's still worth every penny.

A bit off topic, but I just heard on the news he was secretly married to Beyonce on a caribbean island.
