I consider myself a HARDCORE DIE HARD GUNS N' ROSES MANIAC, but I don't remember EVER knowing anything about this band: Wayne Neutron. It is a sort of pre-Neurotic Outsiders band (it has Duff, Matt, Steve Jones and some other guy).

Now I do some research here on this very site and I find on the HTGTH history page (http://www.heretodaygonetohell.com/history/history9495.php) that...

March 10th, 1995 - Duff and Matt plays at the opening of the Hardrock Hotel in Las Vegas. They're in the house band with Ted Andreadis and they're called Wayne Neutron. Together they perform songs such as "Manic Depression", "Hey Joe" (both with Seal on vocals), "Rebel Yell", "Shakin' All Over" (both with Billy Idol on vocals), "Black Leather" (with Steve Jones) and "Raw Power" (with Iggy Pop and Steve Jones). Izzy Stradlin, BB King and Bo Diddley also performed songs with the band. Other artists at the opening were Sheryl Crow, Weezer and Duran Duran (with John Taylor). This was the show where Neurotic Boy Outsiders were born.

Check this very nice performance of "Raw Power" and "I Wanna be Your Dog" with Iggy Pop on this You Tube page: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pgURzpoKz-E

Wow!!!!

Besides being a great band with incredible guests (Izzy!), this is a pro-shot recording! So it is very likely that some US TV aired/broadcasted the entire concert! In the very end of this You Tube clip it shows Ellen Degeneres (is that the right way to write her name?) so some of you guys from the US may know where (which TV channel) is it from.

It is probably a one-off performance but it would be SO GREAT to have the entire show on Mpeg or something (like the GAK 1990 show). I wonder if any of our fellow friends on this board has this recording and is willing to share with us GNR maniacs!  ok

Thanks a lot,
Luciano
