As luck would have it, I have a conference in Burlington, MA on the 9th and 10th (I'm actually presenting on the 10th).? Because of that, I may be heading up that way on the 8th and MIGHT...MIGHT....actually be able to attend this show.? It's not a for sure thing, yet....but it's looking more and more likely.? Hopefully it won't sell out before I'm able to put together my final itinerary and make sure I can go....

I'm not sure I'll make the preshow and will probably sneak into the DCU sometime between the openers and GnR taking the stage.

my ladyfriend got tix for this show so I am going out to see her for the concert. Grin She has GA tix but they say GA7 on them so we are trying to figure out if they are VIP GA's or not. They don't say that on top-I looked at the seating chart for this show and there is no section 7 but on the madonna chart there is. so I am assuming we are in the back part of the GA section but the tickets don't really indicate that and I am not sure if they are dividing the pit like at other shows. Any ideas on this?

Also she wants to know who the openeing acts are...I told her about papa roach since it's lsited on the tm site. But in this thread I see Sabastian Bach is the first act...is that definate? Huh Isn't that the guy from Skid Row? confused

We havent made our definitive plans yet cause she has to work and won't get out till 5pm that day....she mentione dthe bar you are having the pre-party at so maybe we'll drop in...she is not a board member  but know's someone here..but I don't know who lol.

I've been to tons of shows at the Centrum/DCU center.  There has always been only 1 GA section, open to all ticket holders.  I also spoke with the owner of Brew City, who I am friendly with and he wasn't to enthused about running any type of promotions or music for a "pre-party", and didn't want to disrupt his regular business.  This on top of the fact that it is not in walking distance make me think I am going some place else.  There is a new bar called McFaddens right down the street.  I also know the GM for Voodo.  I went there before the beastie boys show a while back and it was great, but no food.  McFaddens has food.

first:

the preparty was not meant to be a party per se--more a meet-up place for people to grab a beer and some food ya know, like regular customers.

im still comfortable with keeping it there, provided the owner now isnt going to be pissed b/c hes under the wrong impression.
