It is cool, but his intros to NR have always been un-real

The Tokyo Illusion one that goes on for 4 minutes is completely sick - and when you hear the shit this guy is capable of playing, it should'nt be too hard for people to understand why eventually , he and Slash had to go their seperate ways.
( Just don't think you can bottle up the musician you are inside just to " get along with " or " keep the band together "
Especially when you've got strong personalities involved
