I know this is related to the show but I thought it desrves it's own thread. Axl's behavior last night was top notch. He didn't go into any long rants about the portland show and he didn't throw any tantrums despite the non-stop audio problems they were having. Then the classiest of all, he apologized at the end of the show to everyone for the portland cancellation and thanked everyone for comming to see them, and he worded everyithing perfectly. To anyone that bitches about how much of an ashole he is, he was the complete opposite last night, very humble and professional. He should get as much props for that as he does complaints about being a jerk.

Yes, he was classy and funny at times as well. The Brittany and Kevin moment of silence, along with him dedicating a song to them was just too much.  rofl He said something along the lines of "that's not silence that I heard" I couldn't hear it word for word as our section was still laughing at Axl.

It was a blast being there last night. My kids loved all the pyrotechnics, and Paradise City just blew the house away.  ok

my feelings exactly. you could tell portland was still on his mind but he was very heartfelt when apologizing and when he thanked everyone who came out. i think he understands how tough it is staying out until 2am and then driving back home when you've gotta rise and shine at 6 and he appreciates those who stick to the end. not many other bands-- ever-- could pull that off.

well he has gotten alot more mature over the years, if u dont count the security guard biting incident, and tommy hilfiger did attack him first as far as i know so...?

dont forget the man is 44 now, its not suprsing that he would act in a more polite manner....

I too was impressed with Axl, most notably after finishing "Paradise City", then taking a group bow with the other guys and thanking us for coming. Axl seems to realize what's at stake with this tour, so after the Portland incident, he really did seem to regret letting down the fans there.
