Axl's part is minimal from what I heard.  But he sounded good.  Not as much Axl as I had expected.

Must be 'love is a bitch slap then. If it was his single, I'm betting it was not the version with Axl.

It was this wasn't it?

Your welcome,

but I still think the version I linked to, and the single version, is all Bach. I can hear where you'd thin Axl was, but thats still Bach. I may be mistaken, but I think this is Bach only.

Wow.  That song is awesome.  Really like the riffs used during the chorus.  I don't hear Axl though.

Someone over at another gnr board was talking about how this song is very 80s and not modern and how Bach is stuck in that time period.  I thought that was dumb because lots of rock bands today are (and have been, for the last 3 or 4 years now) reverting back to the 70s & 80s to shape their sound.  Bands in all different geners of rock music have their own carving in this... There's the Wolfmother & Witchcraft bands (all sound like led zep/sabbath), bands of yesteryear like The Darkness & Jet (beatles/stones), hardcore bands like Every Time I Die & Converge (slagging off pink floyd & zep), the band Down (sabbath, zep, skynard, etc.), Veins of Jenna, etc.  I mean how many times have you heard bands in interviews in the last few years talk about how they want their sound to be just "straight up rock" and other variations.  These are all younger people too.  My point is that Bach is in a good place musically right now.  It's not as if like, a band like Candlebox were to put out an album today that sounded totally 90s/grungy, etc.  Bach's all set.

It sounds like Axl might be "softly talking" behind Seb's singing.  You can kind of hear it around 2:32 under the word "disguise" but it's pretty faint.  Also around 2:42 when he sings "wieght of the world on my back."

Maybe I'm just hearing things.  But do we know for sure if Axl was singing verses on Seb's songs or just harmonizing?

Pretty good song, otherwise.
