I'm intrigued as to what direction Sebastian may take with this record.  confused

We know he has the ability to write country songs, metal songs, rock ballads and heavy songs. I think he will try to differ from the straight rock style of Angel Down, and feel that this time he may try to put a few other influences and styles into the mix.

I love his new song Awake already, can't wait to hear a finished studio version.  Cool

PS, while we are talking about Angel Down. I have to point out that I think that By Your Side is an amazing song, but I think the whole band missed the boat by changing the guitar solo from a classic rock reverb style sound to a clean acoustic sound.

I really do think that the solo was best when they played it live, because they played it with alot of gain, and distortion, with a tinge of reverb and it sounded beautiful. The version on the CD (Angel Down), is bland and uninspiring with it's clean dull tone.  Tongue

I really have no idea why they changed it.  no

Baz is apparently going on tour this summer with Whitesnake, Tesla, Lita Ford, and Firehouse. Saw an announcement they are coming to PNC Bank Arts Center in August.

I don't think it's a full tour, sounds like just 2 shows.

EddieTrunk Eddie Trunk
Trunkfest if I ever heard one in August: Whitesnake, Tesla, Lita & @sebastianbach PNC and Jones Bch. All my buds. Should be a blast!

Sebastian was interviewed on The Danny Bonaduce Show yesterday.  He talks about his divorce and says the book "The Last Living Slut" played a part in his split with his wife.  He also says what was written about him (and Axl) during the 2006 tour was all lies. Tongue

SEBASTIAN BACH Arrested For Marijuana Possession - May 12, 2011

According to TMZ.com, Sebastian Bach was arrested for marijuana possession in New Jersey. The former SKID ROW singer was pulled over for "failing to keep right" on a highway in Monmouth County, New Jersey at 3:32 a.m. on Tuesday, and during the stop, the officer conducted an investigation and discovered weed.

The 43-year-old Bach was arrested for possessing less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sebastian was hauled in to a local jail and was eventually released pending a future court hearing.

Bach was charged assault, possession of marijuana and mischief on November 15, 2010 after he allegedly bit the hand of a bartender trying to throw him out of Riley's Olde Towne Pub in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada.

A surveillance video posted on TMZ.com showed the singer smashing his wine glass on the ground morning and walking towards the entrance of the establishment after he was asked to the leave the bar due to his allegedly rowdy behavior.

A staff member reported Bach bit him on the hand while he was trying to restrain Bach until police arrived.

Bach was in Peterborough dealing with the estate of his father who passed away.

SEBASTIAN BACH Comments On Latest Drug Arrest - May 13, 2011

According to Lehigh Valley Music, former SKID ROW frontman Sebastian Bach commented on his latest arrest during an appearance Thursday (May 12) at the studios of Lehigh Valley radio station WZZO-FM 95.1.

Asked about a reported marijuana possession arrest in New Jersey early Tuesday, when police allegedly pulled over Bach for a traffic offense and found less than 50 grams of the drug in his car, Bach simply laughed that "it was a long night."

"I went to sleep. That?s the end of the interview," he said with a laugh. But he did say he drove to Allentown "all the way from New Jersey.?

I'm actually very surprised at this....

I remember an interview with Baz, where he was going on about how hard it is for true rock artists to get record deals, and promotion and stuff. And then he went on to say something like "and then you got a stupid joke band like Steel Panther, who can get a deal straight away".

So, I don't know why Baz would dig being associated with a group who he regards as jokes.  Tongue
