I would like to know where they got that date from. Sounds more realistic than November 21.

The date on the HMV site is irrelevant. they need the item to be in the database. it's just a placeholder. so that they only have to change the date when the official release date is announced.

Well this ties in to the thread, but I went to my local musiczone today and whilst I was there I figured I'd ask if they knew anything about CD. I asked a girl who worked there if she knew the date for the new GNR album, she disappeared and came back and said it'll be out Dec 4th (UK), so who knows what to think

Just to say i had a chat with the very helpfiul guy at HMV when I told him I wanted the release date he chuckled but looked on the computer.

He was shocked and pleasantly suprised that on the computer (i also read it) it was down for 13th November but next to it had discontinued. He said 21st november sounded much more probable.

Our patience has paid off my friends. My money would be on 21st November so many people think so. and I reckon it would be pure genius marketing strategy to release with no warning. think about it, will easily get onto national tv and national bbc/abc news channels. free advertising with the hy pe and shock. I can literally see riots

Is this UK?.. I noticed it had alaso gone off the website.. originally it was listed but noted under was 'deleted'.. now it has gone all together.

GnR had plenty of opportunity to deny this album would be out on the 21st when they gave their statement re: the fire marshalls at portland. Nothing was said then even though this rumour was already being talked about..why?

Also GnR could just drop this album on the 21st (20th UK) and we would be out to buy it... the promotion for further sales to the masses would then push the album.

Whats the problem guys?..if all else fails we can whip the horse eyes.

Well the reason you can LITERALLY SEE riots is because YOU ARE a little tipsy or maybe it's people fighting over the PS3 that you're invisioning??  Chinese Democracy won't start riots anywhere, except on this forum.  I don't even know what to think about this release date anymore.  They've got us all fooled because they haven't said anything yet.  IT WILL BE OUT THIS YEAR THOUGH.  I can guarantee you that.  How do I know for sure??  If I told you all, I would have to kill you all... and that's just way too many people for me to kill.  Hell, one person is too many for me to kill.  But we'll see this album before '06 is over and you can all sit by the Christmas tree with your Chinese Democracy CD in your hand and play it for family, relatives and neighbors.  You can play it for the junkie and the whore on the corner and the drug dealer across the street.  You can leave the album out for Santa instead of the traditional cookies and milk, so he can play it on his fucking sleigh.  Play it for whoever the fuck you want, but you will be playing that bitch before the year is up... That's hilarious Lennon....I believe it's the 21'st because it is coming from different places and as successful as gnr has been in keeping it secret, it is starting to seep out as we said many times before the "article" how come no one knows anything and howcome no one is saying anything....well people are talking and things are happening.
