I also don't like the pyro because it drowns out the guitar when the explosion occurs...especially on Jungle...I want to hear those geetars kick in! The flames are kinda cool but the explosions are too much for this old fart! Grin

It means gnr doesnt need gimmics like pyro to put on a great show

Agreed, but it is part of the show. Nothing to do with greatness. You see, solos are part of the current show - some hate it, some love it... they would probably cancel the show if solos (ok, ok...) were not allowed, right?

What I am trying to say is, of course we are going to see GNR for their music, but also for the show they put... and they want us to see the show with pyro. Simple.

Everyone have a blast tonight and be safe out there.  That means don't drink and drive, don't do drugs, no premarital sex and no violence; you know, the shit that some of you do on a daily basis.  No but in a seriousness, have a good time and I hope the show is amazing for everyone.

I hope someone can bootleg.  I'm not expecting to be able to hear much that Axl (or anyone else in the band) might say because I'll be down on the floor.

Now I have to take my sorry ass to go get ready.  That message from Merck and Axl just ate up about 2 hours that I didn't expect hihi  Damn you!!! (j/k!)

That has nothing to do with anything.

IT has EVERYTHING thing to do with it. Point is, gnr could have NO pyro and peope who enjoy the show just as much as if they had it.  You really think if fans had the chance to see gnr without pyro or not see them at all, theywouldnt want to see the  band bc they didnt have pyro for one show?

But you didn't say that.

You compared Ritz '88 with a show w/ pyro, like there's a difference. No, GN'R doesn't NEED pyro, but it does add a little something.

I watched Indiana '91 the other day, and watched the PC finale, and imo it was completely limp on the end. After the take "homeeeeee .... hommmmmmmmmmmeeeeeeeeeeeeeeyeeeeeahhhhhh!" explosion, then confetti starts in 2006 this ending is MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH more exciting as a finale.
