my vote is for Buckcherry.? they are a perfect fit. ok

otherwise, i'd like to see Baz play a longer set, and have no second opening act.

A perfect choice. That would take you all the way back to 1987/1988..... One of the only real RAW rock bands out there at the moment...

Before all my posts about subjective matters there should be an IMO before the post. I took this sig down but of course it has to go back up.

I agree that the Muse would be kick fucking ass and actually on the "possible" side of happening.  Even more possible though would be if Axl called me up and said GN'R would open up for me on THEIR tour... I think I would consider it.

Muse would rock, but they're a little too big to be opening don't you think?

I don't think they are too big to open for GN'R, but they would deserve a slightly longer set than Papa Roach has been allowed to give. It won't happen but it's nice to think about.

I hate to burst bubbles, but

BUCKCHERRY is playing Youngstown, OH with Crossfade on the 27th of Nov.  GNR is in Chicago, so No Buck for the opener.

Next Guess...

I would LOVE to see Muse as the next opening act... but I don't think that's going to happen.

Quite frankly, I feel they're too good of a band to be opening for anyone at this point.

However, if GNR were looking for an opener who would essentially require Axl (and the band) to push themselves every night to the best of their abilities... then Muse would be the perfect band to do that.   yes

Cheers,
W.R.

Jet is running a small theater tour of the North America starting later this month. I would think that it wouldn't take much to reschedule those dates and then jump on as the opener of a much larger arena tour (that will also get them alot more press, especially id CD somes out while they are on the road with GnR).

I think they are a really good match for GnR and their audience.
