but this time, unlike the other times theres substantial evidence that the cd has gone to its last stages, and is pretty much done.. if its mixed, whats holding it up??

we know the band has rehearsed to play 9songs off chinese democracy.. they wouldnt do that unless they were planning to add more songs once the cd is out...

I could show you some great quotes from Axl himself saying the album is done and ready right down to the tracklist and cover art back in 02. Did we get the album? No. Everything is pointing in the right direction I agree but just because things appear in there final stages means very little with this album sadly. Things are looking much more planned than 02 though, and the regular guarantees for the album this year are encouraging so I'm still thinking a release this year ?

I think we should all just wait until the end of November. If there's no word then, then I doubt very much we'll see it this year. Marketing for an album usually begins around a month before release.
If you look around a few online stores, there's not too many CD releases in December at the moment as they have not all been confirmed yet. There's still hope, I guess.
