Chinese Democracy-2006?

The New Chinese Year will commence on February 18 - the Year of the Pig. They'd release it on this day if only it weren't a Sunday. 2012 is the Year of the Dragon. Has potential!

Ok, about eight Tuesdays left for 2006. Can we rule out this year or is it still possible for it to be released?

Here is my opinion, which of course could be dead wrong. But I think the band really did anticipate an '06 release (as Axl said at the VMAs) but that something is holding up the release. After all, it would explain why management has tried to erase the RS tidbit and why we haven't seen the HD commercial...

As much as I had hoped for it to come out this year, I now believe this will not be the case. Hope I am proved wrong.

Well, it's a good point he makes about all the stuff being removed from gunsnroses.com and here.  Only reason to pull that stuff and the HD ad is because the album is in jeopardy of not surfcaing soon.

I think we can rule out 2006 now.  But at least we got a tour from GNR.  Here is hoping for a 2007 release.

there's still 2 months left, but in case it's not released, I'm gonna count my losses, and move on, and put this episode behind.
I've spent to much time hoping to hear it, and I have no intention loosing any more time/faith after dec.31st

Again. ?Why keep it a secret? ?It just doesn't make any sense. ?Believe me, I hope it will come out this year. ?BUT! ?I have to be realistic and logical. ?Any hope that there may be left will be gone if they do not announce anything by this Friday. ?And I gave up hope 2 weeks ago so I am really strecthing this. ?Usually record stores get the release date a month in advance on practically EVERY ALBUM coming out. ?I know I used to own a record store. ?And I don't think that they got a release date yet.
